Sport and Working Dogs

Are you looking to take your training to the next level? We offer two tiers of strength and conditioning.

Cross-training: Many dogs come to us with some experience, and you may already have equipment at home. Whether you need help getting started, want to maximize your current routine, or are looking for the accountability of a “personal trainer” for you and your dog, we’re here to help. We’ll review your program, fine-tune performance, and ensure proper posture and execution. We also adjust sets and reps to align with your goals while preventing overtraining. High-drive dogs often push through fatigue or minor strains, so we’ll teach you how to recognize when it’s time to rest and how to modify workouts to avoid injury.

Periodization training: Inspired by elite human athletes, this approach helps your dog peak at the right time. We evaluate performance, review your event calendar, and set goals. Then we build a phased plan focused on strength, power, recovery, or injury prevention—continuously adapting based on your dog’s progress.

Collaborative Conditioning

Have you taken a basic obedience class and enjoy working with your dog? Are you both excited about learning new things?

Take your dog’s training to the next level by incorporating fitness and conditioning into their routine. Strength and conditioning not only keeps your furry companion healthy and fit, but also adds a layer of mental engagement that enhances focus, confidence, and overall behavior.

This type of training goes beyond basic exercise—it builds strength, improves mobility, and supports injury prevention, helping your dog stay active for years to come. Whether you’re preparing for outdoor adventures, sports, or simply want a happier, more balanced dog, fitness training creates a well-rounded foundation.

It’s also a fun and rewarding way to deepen your bond. Working together toward shared goals strengthens trust and communication between you and your dog. With the right program, you’ll keep your dog engaged, energized, and ready to join you on every hike, weekend outing, and everyday adventure.

Rehab Support

Is your dog currently enrolled in a rehab program and you need some help between visits carrying out their home exercise program?  Have you and your dog graduated from rehab after recovery from surgery or an injury?

We help bridge the gap between rehab visits, keeping your dog on track toward recovery while maintaining overall strength, mobility, and well-being. Our goal is to ensure consistent progress so your canine companion continues to feel and perform their best between appointments.

We work closely with your rehab therapist to follow and support their prescribed treatment plan. Throughout the process, we provide updates—flagging anything that seems off and celebrating milestones along the way. If your dog needs extra support between visits, we also offer a la carte services like laser or shockwave therapy (with approval from your veterinarian or physical therapist). These quick tune-ups can help manage discomfort, support healing, and keep your dog comfortable until their next rehab session.
